What the Scorned Wilderness is
Scorned Wilderness is the version 1.0 endgame area and the conclusion of Kuldra’s Saga. It is deliberately different from earlier open regions: the route is a high-end gauntlet through land torn apart by wild anima and Black Dragons, ending with Kuldra the God-Eater.
Jagex divides it into two functional spaces:
- The Hub: construction is allowed. Use it as the staging point for storage, crafting, repairs and replacement supplies.
- The Raid: construction is disabled. Progress depends on what the group carries and earns rather than emergency building inside the encounter.
Access and preparation
Regicide is the version 1.0 quest attached to this region. Finish the preceding main-story objectives and follow Regicide until the game opens the endgame route; an old Early Access save at the previous endpoint is not proof that the raid is immediately unlocked.
Before leaving the Hub:
- repair every equipped item;
- bring food, drink and any runes or ammunition required by the chosen combat style;
- leave a replacement kit and reserve consumables in Hub storage;
- give each co-op player a way to fight at range;
- agree whether the next attempt is for progression, learning or repeat rewards.
What to expect inside the Raid
The official preview describes traversal across floating islands while Kuldra attacks during the approach. The raid tests survival through enemy pressure and grants the right to challenge the boss after making progress through the landscape. It is playable solo or with allies; it is not officially described as requiring a fixed party composition.
Because Jagex intentionally withheld the full raid mechanics before launch, this guide does not invent a wave count or pretend that a pre-release preview is a complete walkthrough. Use visible telegraphs, keep enough stamina to escape an unfamiliar attack and prioritize surviving a new section over spending all supplies on the first attempt.
Rewards and repeat runs
The official launch and road-to-release posts connect successful Scorned Wilderness runs with Runite Ore, Luminite Ore, Magic Wood, Black Dragon Hide and other high-end crafting materials. The reward path includes Ancestral Robes, Black Dragonhide gear and Rune Armour.
Jagex also previewed an upgraded Dragon Shield, a cape, Dragon armour pieces, the Dragon Scimitar and Dragon Crossbow around Kuldra’s reward path. Secret rare-table items were intentionally not disclosed. Treat exact drop rates circulating online as community testing unless Jagex publishes them.
Solo and co-op priorities
For solo attempts, reduce unnecessary inventory variety and learn one segment at a time. In co-op, stay close enough to revive or support one another, call out aerial attacks and decide who carries extra supplies. More players do not compensate for entering with damaged equipment or no recovery plan.
