What Regicide unlocks

Regicide is the version 1.0 primary quest attached to the Scorned Wilderness and the conclusion of Kuldra’s Saga. It leads into the Hub, the no-build Raid space and the confrontation with Kuldra the God-Eater.

This is a Dragonwilds quest. It does not use the steps, characters or locations from the RuneScape quest with the same title.

Prerequisites

Complete the earlier Kuldra’s Saga regions and their main boss gates before expecting Regicide to function as a standalone endgame shortcut. At minimum, the story path has already moved through Velgar, Fellhollow and Imaru, Dowdun Reach and the Black Knight Titan, then Umbral Sands and Fuzan.

Because version 1.0 was released only on September 15, 2026, the official launch notes confirm the quest and region relationship but do not publish a full objective-by-objective walkthrough. This page therefore does not invent dialogue choices or coordinates.

Safe progression method

  1. Load the current character and check the gold primary quest in the map.
  2. Finish any remaining hand-in from the previous region before searching for a new marker.
  3. Select Regicide and follow the gold objective into the Scorned Wilderness Hub.
  4. Use the Hub to repair equipment, build storage and stage replacement supplies.
  5. Continue only when the journal points into the Raid area; building is disabled there.
  6. Complete each objective and return dialogue before assuming the Kuldra encounter is unlocked.

Endgame preparation

Regicide arrives alongside Runite and other high-end progression. Bring one complete combat setup rather than several partially upgraded styles. Carry a ranged answer, food, drink, ammunition or runes, and leave a replacement kit in the Hub.

The Raid is described by Jagex as a high-end challenge across floating islands under enemy and dragon pressure. A quest marker can show where to go, but it does not make an underprepared character raid-ready.

If the quest does not advance

  • Re-read the gold objective and check whether it requires a return conversation.
  • Confirm the game is running version 1.0 or later.
  • In multiplayer, verify that the relevant world and character both have the required story state.
  • Do not use a pre-release roadmap as a walkthrough; it describes planned content, not final objective order.
